Just a short video ... we left Old Policeman's Waterhole (well worth a visit and a stay for a few days) in the Davenport National Park and headed to Limmin National Park via Barkly Homestead and Cape Crawford a distance of about 700kms.
We spent the night at Cape Crawford, which is 100 kilometres south-west of Borroloola. It is surrounded by savannah woodland, rock escarpments, waterfalls and waterholes (some have water and others ...). From here we organised a sunrise helicopter ride over the 'lost city' (large sandstone outcrops and formations formed about 1.4 billion years ago) of the Limmen National Park.
We are being harangued by nasty little mosquitos despite being covered in mosquito repellant and with a mozzie coil! Temperature has been about 32 degrees today. We had planned to stay here for 2 nights but have decided to look further north (toward Roper Bar) for somewhere with a few less mozzies. There is only one other camper in this part of the National Park.
