The caravan killer! Not for the faint hearted. 660km of mainly unsealed road (470km): heavy corrugations, loose gravel, potholes and/or rocks. Gorges, many river crossings and cattle stations. Limited services. Salt water crocs. Iconic! Road is only open during the dry season (May to October).
